Ronald Chase is a self-taught artist that has lived and worked in San Francisco since 1964. He is the Director of the SF Art & Film Program for teenagers, now celebrating its 20th year. He is recepient of 2 SECA Awards in film. His work in photography, artist books, early sculptures and his abstract work all inform the ideas in the current series of grid paintings and work on paper from 2010-12. Paintings take the longest period of development, sometimes 10-15 years. He will be showing new work in Open Studios. Further info can be had on Wikipedia.
