A friend recently called me multi-talented, but it feels more like multiple personalities. I can never settle, never make up my mind, never pick a single "brand." After a lifetime of experimentation with styles, subject matter, and media, including ceramics, textiles, and illustration, I now toggle between abstract printmaking, realistic drawing, painting, and found abstract photography, and sometimes mix them up. From meticulously-rendered colored pencil to loose brushstrokes of acrylic, from spontaneous monotypes to carefully layered collage, I choose the media that captures my mood and reveals meaning, through imagery, color, and texture.
