Each work in this collection represents a planet from another far away galaxy, imagining strange and exotic worlds. Pigments are created directly from natural elements on planet earth to inspire tones and landscapes that may be present in other galaxies. Each painting is a window into a different world, inviting you to explore its hidden secrets and imagine an existence beyond earth. It’s a call for the viewer to contemplate our own existence as well as the vastness of the universe.
As a collection, these paintings offer a reminder of the vastness and mystery of the cosmos. They inspire us to explore, to dream, and to ponder the countless possibilities that exist beyond our own tiny corner of the universe.
Working with natural, handmade pigments inspired me to tap into the energy of those elements in our own, familiar nature. These are the same elements and atoms that make up the entire universe. I hope these pieces make us all feel more connected to our planet, to others we exist with, and to the universe as a whole.
