California artist, Detroit native.

Through layers of Glitter, Plastic, Mylar, and spray paint, under resin, I create minimalistic, non-representational abstractions, using universal shapes through the power of color.

My process is thoughtful yet instinctual. Much of the glitter is reclaimed; old boxes of mixed glitter+ swept up, off a previous studio's floor and furnishings, now have donated glitter added to it, and is stored and mixed in a reused, yellow Tidy Cats kitty litter container. Reclaimed surfaces emote beloved Wabi-sabi to modern works.

Recent works are a
conveyance of things larger than ourselves, through emulation of tools; such as symbolism, science, and nature—which are utilized in an attempt to understand, and rationalize the unknown, and the spiritual. Work is created to promote beauty, positivity and forward; expansion and connectedness. An experiential, contemplative glamour is offered to the viewer; a mindful transformation.
