Art to me is a pure form of communication where I find meaning in using color and symbolism to express feelings. My contemporary art evokes abstract landscapes that avoid a literal image in favor of expressive composition with color, texture and layering. I want the viewer to enter the painting, discover objects within it and come back stimulated by the marginal space between the depiction of nature and abstract imagery.
