Hello! I’m Savannah Rusher, an Oakland-based, multimedia, 2D artist. My preferred mediums are painting, printmaking and collage. I love Minimalism, Modernism, and Post Modernism. My creative practice is rooted in collage, dissecting and connecting flat forms to create a singular dialog. The contrast of organic and man-made forms is a reoccurring theme of my work, inspired by time spent along the coast.
I have exhibited in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and in 2020 I founded the surf apparel company IDEAL.
