Visual artist, Karen Slovak, paints nature’s patterns, mystical figures, and enchanted city scenes that evoke a sense of interconnection and belonging. Working primarily in oil and acrylic, she likes the meditative aspect of painting and the unfolding of images that emerge in the process. Karen has been a chalk muralist at the North Beach Festival, designed collections for home textiles, and teaches art classes to children and adults. She looks forward to seeing you at open studios!
