Brian’s work is based on the abstraction of landscapes, architectural elements, and the impact of man on the natural world.
His pieces transform landscapes and manmade forms to represent physical changes on a grand scale. To create sculptural texture, he cuts and manipulates giant sheets of acrylic paint and lets the play of light and shadow work their magic.
The Circle Back series addresses how the hidden veils we wear distort our views and alter the way we consume reality.
The Braided series is an abstracted interpretation of the braided rivers and glacial moraines of the Denali Alaska landscape.
