Process is at once a history, an operation, and a foretelling. The function itself conveys a story of how and why things come to be. I am interested in the convergence between contemporary society and the process of painting. How is the language of painting reflected in or affected by modern industrial and technological systems? How does the process of painting, through materials and modes, contextualize the subject? I seek to express these issues through my artmaking.
