This series of paintings is comprised of images we all see, newspapers we've all read, headlines we've all heard about; the collage background represents a social subconscious, while the figurative image laid over is the physical manifestation of those thoughts, fears, ambitions and consumptions. This body of work encapsulates a history, and in that way, becomes something to turn to in hope of better understanding one's self and the motivations and desires that drive us to act and behave as an individual and as a society.
