Artist Statement

i use art as a tool to know myself, to access, integrate and engage with the multidimensionality of being. i draw from my european and meso-american ancestral influences and myths as well as nature to articulate my personal and cultural experiences for my own awareness and expansion. art is like meditating, praying for me. the products mark the path, but it is the experience, the journey through creation that changes me. creating art is a symbolic ritual to empower and further teach me that i create my reality. i am always spirit. only a part of me is focused in the physical with the hope and intent that i will remember that i am all that is, and with limitless energy and joy know that i create in order to experience myself more fully. there are many paths, and many lessons, but all is love. love is all.
