Priscilla Otani
Artist Statement
Priscilla Otani is a San Francisco-based artist working in mixed media, photography and book arts. Social issues, particularly those that affect youth, class and women are recurring themes. Her works have been selected in various exhibitions including Control, Banned & Recovered, Like Water on Rock and Alameda on Camera.Her exhibition work includes Effects of War, Women on War, Cutting Edge Books and Women Artists on Immigration. Priscilla has also curated several global postcard exhibits and last year presented a workshop at the Mexico City United Nations conference. She is currently President-Elect for the National Women’s Caucus for Art and International Committee Chair, representing Women’s Caucus at the United Nations.
